About

Stacee is a New Yorker who lives in (but doesn't know if she likes) Los Angeles.

Comedy people call her work dramas and drama people call her work comedies so, ya know, take from that what you will. She sure does.

Stacee has directed projects that have been on MTV, The Hallmark Channel, ITV, MTVU, maybe some other TV networks that she can't think of right now, as well as a bunch of streaming and digital media platforms. Her work has also undoubtedly been seen some places that she doesn't know about at all. #freelancelife

Stages on both coasts have seen premieres of Stacee's own plays as well as the works of other playwrights that she's directed. Her original musicals have been at prestigious venues like New York's DR2 Theatre, and her Lana Del Rey Musical, Born to Die, premiered at Los Angeles' Rockwell Table and Stage.

On camera and on the stage, she has had the pleasure of working with Oscar winners, Tony winners, Grammy winners, and Emmy winners. She has none of those awards herself, but she's not insecure about it at all!

As a non-dramatic writer, her words have been in The Huffington Post, The New York Times Magazine and like, Twitter.

For the most pretentious portion of this bio, Stacee has studied storytelling in the hallowed-halls of Yale University, Columbia University, Carnegie Mellon University and at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts where she was recently asked to speak to students about being a profesh filmmaker.

Stacee likes writing in general but does not like writing bios, so she's done now.
